Symptoms of coronavirus

It can take up to 14 days for symptoms of coronavirus to appear. They can be similar to the symptoms of cold and flu.

Common symptoms of coronavirus include:

  • a fever (high temperature – 38 degrees Celsius or above)
  • a cough – this can be any kind of cough, not just dry
  • shortness of breath (breathing difficulties)

Everyone needs to stay at home to help slow the spread of coronavirus. You should only leave for essential reasons. This is the best way to protect your friends, families and communities.

Dear Patients,

We will be running two children's vaccination clinics next week in the Primary Care Centre in Carrick-on-Suir.

These clinics are for children aged 2 YEARS TO 12 YEARS OF AGE ONLY.

Dates:

Wednesday 28th October from 2pm to 5pm

Thursday 29th October from 2pm to 3.30pm

Under Level 5 restrictions, it is imperative that EACH CHILD in a family is INDIVIDUALLY booked in.

Dear Patients,

In order to ensure the safety of our patients during Covid, we have developed an online booking system for the flu vaccination programme. We will be carrying out vaccinations in the Primary Care Centre in Carrick-on-Suir on Wednesday 30th September 2020 between 2-5pm. Further dates will also be added. Please click on the link below to make your appointment We would appreciate it if carers and relatives could help with online bookings as our telephone lines are extremely congested at the moment.
Appointments will be for flu vaccines only as we are off site

To all of our patients, we are approaching the Winter season which becomes much busier in the surgery.
As you may appreciate Covid 19 has hugely impacted our daily workload.
As a result there will be unavoidable delays in services such as routine bloods, repeat prescriptions and paperwork.
We would like to thank you for your patience and support during this Global Pandemic.
We would like to request that repeat prescriptions be ordered as early as possible.
